VHS Cleaner History
Since 2017, VHS Cleaner Machine has been helping users, collectors, and professional digitization studios restore and preserve video tapes safely and efficiently.
With the advancement of 3D printing technology, the project reached a new level in 2021 with the release of the VHS Cleaner 3 — a lighter, more precise, and more reliable version. Today, the machine is in its 5.6 version, used in over 50 countries around the world.
Designed to handle multiple formats — VHS, Mini DV, 8 mm, Betamax, Betacam 30, and VHS-C — the VHS Cleaner Machine performs deep cleaning with controlled friction and variable speeds of up to 3200 RPM, removing dust, mold, and oxide residue without damaging the tape.
Its advanced cleaning system preserves the original tape tension, preventing dropouts and drop-offs during playback — something traditional cleaning methods can’t guarantee.
In 2022, our company began the patent process for the VHS Cleaner Machine, which is now in its final stage.

The VHS Cleaner 5.6 has a solid laminated wood base to prevent shaking, high-quality electronic components, and precision-printed plastic parts for high durability. It is common to find customers with machines that have been doing cleaning work for 5 years.
Today, the VHS Cleaner is trusted by universities, museums, and restoration labs worldwide, becoming an essential tool for anyone who works with analog video preservation.
